Third Annual Ladybug Festival

The girls and I went on our third annual trip to the Ladybug Festival at Weidner's Gardens in Encinitas.  Here was our first trip and here is our second trip. Wow!! The girls have gotten so big!

As always, we painted ladybug rocks and crafts and came home with a little container full of live ladybugs.  And as always, many ladybugs lost their lives bravely trying to escape the hands of my children.  They are so attached, I gave them one ladybug sealed in a plastic container to take to bed with them (I know, I know, but I had to remind myself this is their childhood!).
