Wow what a week! After the horrible sign was taken down in the building entryway, I got a knock on my door. It was one of the neighbors (that I haven't met yet) going around apologizing to the surrounding neighbors for them being so loud. She promised a much quieter environment to much my surprise, and it has actually come true. They are still loud from time to time, but it is mostly during the day and is cut off not too late. Regardless, it is a 100 times better than before.
I was impressed by this courageous and humble move she made, and I was a bit disappointed in myself for not being as welcoming as I probably should have been. I am praying for open doors here for God to work in their lives, as well as my own. So...love thy neighbor? Ok! I will try my best!
