Latest!

I know I need to post some pictures (Sorry Grandmas!)

Matt and I spent a wonderful weekend together to both celebrate our 6th yr anniversary and our last weekend together before he flies out to Oklahoma this weekend. We went to San Diego on Saturday and even got to look around some potential areas to live in. I am glad we looked because some looked nice online but we quickly locked our doors while driving through!!!! and decided, "no thanks!"

We even got to go to a movie!! I haven't been to the movies in so long and we saw Up. I realize it has been out for awhile, but I adored this movie!!! It was so touching!!

On Sunday we returned to our little girl and spent the rest of the evening catching up on hugs and kisses :)

The FAA approximated Matt's return date to be October 2nd!! Yay!! This is only 2 months he has to be gone! I am thankful that I have so much to do while he is away to keep my mind off him being gone.

Knowing that we will be living off of one income soon, has really challenged me in the spending dept! I won't say we are super horrible when it comes to spending but we certainly could do a lot better. I waste so much food each month for just one example. I found this article that I thought was a good starting point at evaluating my spending habits.

(Sorry if the link doesn't work directly)

I really want to try making my own bread (like it suggests!) It sounds easy and much less expensive!!

  1. Once you stay home and you get used to your new schedule, activities and things around the house you will find that money isn't as bad you thought it would be. Cutting cupons, bargain shopping, hand me downs, and God provide what you need when you need it.Living in San Diego may be harder because its a bigger city and costs more but you adjust as you go.
