Ok, I know if you have facebook, you probably saw my entry...
"Wow...just sat down (after enduring a bathtime full of two screaming children in a bathroom that amplifies everything), to enjoy the rest of my iced coffee drink to find that green playdough had been shoved into my straw...oh well."
I decided to just take a moment out, the baby is down for a nap, K is (I know, I know) plopped in front of the TV with a snack. I would say it is relaxing but it sounds like World War III is going on upstairs...
So I know I mentioned before the trouble they have been, but it has gotten worse. They have a party like almost every night of the week, smoke pot, and throw cigarette butts into our patio from time to time. We have made two complaints to our HOA, but I don't think our dear neighbors really care.
I walked out the building entryway to find a sign posted on the bulletin board
"ATTENTION: Hey you marijuana smokers in #XXX. This building is tired of your smoking and loud, obnoxious music. We aren't going to put up with your kind in our building so MOVE OUT."
Ok...so while on the one hand, I am glad we aren't alone in our frustrations, but I don't think that is the BEST approach here. Not only is it a little juvenile itself, it is borderline racist sounding! Plus, it is written on elementry school paper so they are going to know who wrote it has kids...which makes me a target. UGH!
I know who wrote it and this person stated that this was how they got rid of 2 sex offenders in this building and some other obnoxious people. I don't really see this as being effective with young, college aged party goers who probably already disrespect older adults as it is.
