Poor babe!

My poor Kaitlyn has her first cold. It started Monday night when we were sleeping. She had a really stuffy nose but hadn't quite figured out she could breath through her mouth yet, so she kept coughing and was having a hard time breathing. I stayed home with her and took her to the Dr. the next day. She has a runny nose and is a little congested, but she doesn't have an ear infection or seem to have congestion in her chest so that is good. The Dr. said it just has to run it's course (about a week or so) ugh! Last night she didn't sleep good again but was really happy this morning. Even though I am zombified and can hardly stay awake, seeing her smile helps tremendously! And I made up a new song about boogers that she likes, haha.

My mom came over to let me rest a little yesterday as I was not feeling so great either. I didn't realize but she taught Kaitlyn how to wave her arm to say good bye! I was so surprised. Matt says that my mom does this with her every morning when he drops her off and then when she leaves. I thought it was just coincidence when she waved her arm the first time but then she did it again! It is so cute!
