Pondering

Being a new mom, I have learned a LOT of interesting things...I often ponder the following:

1) How is it that Kaitlyn can be sound asleep during a car ride, and remain that way throughout the entire "getting out of the car" process, with the unbuckling of the seat belt, slamming of the door, etc. But...during a nap she can be awakened by the sound of my bare feet tip-toeing in to check on her???

2) Even from a room away, I know the sound a pacifier makes when it falls out of a mouth.

3) Why is it that the arrival of my meal also serves as a baby alarm clock?

4) 8:30 a.m. used to be getting up early...

5) Why does my baby's pooh and boogers not gross me out?

Just some thoughts for a lazy Friday afternoon..
