Goals :)

I have so many things to be thankful for right now!

1) My mom is now able to watch Kaitlyn for us!! This, as you know, is a huge relief and came in the knick of time!

2) Matt and I found a church that I think we will really enjoy! It is called the River Church of the Canyons and is located off of San Timateo Road. I LOVED IT! I felt like little House on the Prairie :) It is located on a ranch and church is held in a huge tent! During the service you can look out into a field and see butterflies dancing! The people were very friendly and most importantly the Word of God is taught. Plus, Kaitlyn had a good time (unlike at some other churches we have tried in the past...not that they were bad churches, but she screamed the entire time!) I went to the women's Bible study tonight and really enjoyed it as well. Matt so graciously agreed to watch Kaitlyn so I can go (Thanks honey!) The women are very genuine and open and it is nice to feel welcomed! They are in need of Sunday school teachers and I am going to think about it. I enjoy teaching (not in public schools in downtown San Bernardino!) and maybe this can be a way I can serve. We will see!

3) Matt and I have been working on down-sizing our budget so I might be able to either work part time or stay home altogether! This as you know is a dream of mine. However, I am working on being content where God has me right now and trusting this is where I am supposed to be until otherwise told so. I hope that I can stay positive and know that God will take care of us no matter if I have to work or not. Matt said we can try our budget for 3 months and if it is realistic, I can look for a part time job and go for it! Whoo hoo! I have really been learning about how to save money. It has been a huge eye opener for me. I knew that we kinda wasted money here and there, but didn't realize to the extent it is. For example, if you have service through Southern California Edison, you can go on there and take a 15 minute survey. Afterwards, they provide a report on your energy usage. Most of our bill goes towards using household lights/lamps! Crazy!! So as a result, I sit in darkness as I write this. haha Once you complete the survey, they also send you some free stuff like lightbulbs and low flow shower heads!! Yes! I have also started using coupons! Especially for formula...I have like 5 coupons for $5 off. That is 25 bucks there I would have otherwise spent! Whether I get to stay home or not, why waste money yes??

4) I have been wanting to start up photography again for some time now. I used to take pictures often and I find it to be so therapeutic. It is my goal to get out at least one hour a weekend and just snap some shots!

Well these are my ramblings for tonight! Pray for me in all my endeavors!

I'm so glad your mom is able to watch Kaitlyn now, that's great! I"m sure that makes you feel a lot better.

Way to go saving money! I need to re-do our budget and try to stick to it! I really hope you are able to stay home, at least part time Salch :)

That church that you found, Matt used to work with a guy named Matt, and it is either his brother or sister that started the church. I think it's their house or something. I'm glad you found a place you like :)

Praying for you!
