Hello!! Again, just a quick second!! This week has been a whirlwind :) Kaitlyn is doing wonderful and she is such a good and sweet baby. Hardly fussy beyond the normal stuff!!! We just love her more each day!!! We went to see a lactation consultant today because I was having some nursing problems and I feel 100% better and know what I am doing finally!! She also had her first doctor's appt today and is looking great too! At discharge she weighed 7 lbs 15 ozs and then at her appt had only dropped to 7 lbs 13 ozs, which was good news to us because I was worried about the nursing issues. Now that I know what I am doing, she should put on some weight no problem! She certainly has the appetite for it! We had to get a new vehicle for Matt this week because his car died! It was 11 years old so it isn't as if we just got it! Matt found this great deal on a Toyota Highlander (used). We love it and it has soooooooooo much more room than his eclipse. No attempt was made to put the car seat into his little back seat!! Other than that, we are both doing great and enjoying the baby and eachother very much. It is amazing to see a whole other side to the person you love and to see that much more come out when you really need love and support during tired times and exhaustion. He is the best husband and is the best daddy in the world :) :) :) We were talking about how becoming a parent really opens you up to an entirely new world of vulnerability and fear in some ways. I am terrified to drive anywhere or that she got too cold when we took her from the car to the house! Normal new parent stuff I am sure :)

I have been wishing for some warmer weather so I can show off her cute little legs in some lighter outfits...but it has been so cold that I have kept her covered :) Now that we are getting a slight routine down, I am thinking I will have more time to really enjoy her and take some pictures for her announcements! I will keep you all updated! Thanks for your prayers and all your help!

Awe Salch, she is just adorable! I just want to pinch her cute little cheeks :) I'm so glad you saw a lactation consultant, that totally helped me too... nursing can be really hard at first! The good news is that it gets SO much better and pretty soon it's amazing what you an do while you nurse (like leave a comment on someone's blog...haha), plus it's really special and bonding :)

I would love to drop by and meet her for a little bit while you're off, so whenever you're up to it please let me know! Ethan can't wait to meet the new little Salch jr. ;)

Kaitlyn is very cute! I am still having issues with bf. I'm not sure if it is because I have two (there is no way I could feed them both without supplementing formula).

Hope things continue to go well!
